This is a modest car cover. the material is single layer fabric. I realize that there are two big loops on the bottom of the machine cover. on a windy day, you can use these to attach a length of twine under the car. a length of twine cheap is included. I can't find anything that would scratch my car, except * maybe * those grommets. mount the lid of my little Hyundai Elantra OK, but looks pretty baggy in places. on a windy day, you will need to use twine (or similar)
